The Canine Agility Training Society – CATS – is a local dog agility social club in southwestern New Hampshire. While our name indicates we’re a fun group with a sense of humor, we’re also proud of being one of the five oldest agility clubs in the nation.
CATS holds agility trials each year. This year we are planning: CPE in March & September and USDAA in June & October. Membership benefits include: reduced entry fees for Club members who work during the trials; opportunity to attend periodic agility clinics; and affordable training opportunities & run-thrus for our members. Each year we honor our dogs who’ve gone over the Rainbow Bridge with nameplates on the fencing of our outdoor ring.
CATS is based at the Monadnock Humane Society (MHS) in Swanzey, NH and unless otherwise noted, our events take place at MHS.
Our members live mostly in NH, VT and MA, and are affiliated with a variety of dog agility venues, including NADAC, CPE, USDAA, AKC, ASCA, and UKI. Some members don’t compete at all, choosing dog agility simply as a great way to have fun and build a strong partnership with their dog without competition in the mix. Come join us at an upcoming trial and meet some of our members. Spectators are always welcome at an outdoor agility trial.
You can find membership information in the section Join CATS on this website. Beginner agility classes are available from the Monadnock Humane Society.
